<p><strong>First I watched what I ate</strong>. Obviously we all know that proper nutrition is important. The problem is I like to eat out a lot and junk food is a normal staple for me. So I had to get into a decent eating routine that cut back on at least some of the junk foods. Once you get past the cravings of sweets and the fast food burger and fries coupled with a root beer shake it is amazing how much belly fat rolls off.</p>
<p><strong>Second I started some high intensity training.</strong> High intensity training is exactly that. It takes hard work and can even be a tad painful as you get used to pushing yourself past the normal routines. I have found that quick burst work better than long distance running so here is what I do for cardio. I warm up with some stretching exercises then jog for a few minutes. I then run as fast as I can for 30 to 40 seconds. Make it a good wind sprint. I then jog for the same amount of time and then repeat until I cannot do it anymore. When you push yourself to failure you will see a huge difference.</p>
<p><strong>Third I work out on a regular basis.</strong> It has been proven that a well rounded exercise plan is far better than keying in on just one portion of the body. In other words just doing abdominal training is not sufficient to lose your belly fat. It takes an over-all plan to get it done. We all have six-pack abs. Its just that some folks have a ton of belly flab covering it up. If you are one who is asking how can I lose my belly fat then you are on the right path to success.</p>
