Stop Drinking Soda and Pop!

Yeah I said it, does this surprise you? Well let’s start off with the average can of pop. It can contain 150 calories 40 of them coming from sugars. This can be approximately 10 teaspoons of sugar in one can of pop!! Did you know a teaspoon of sugar can suppress your immune system for up to 4 hours? This convinces me as to how pop can be a contributor to why so many people are sick and unhealthy. Not only is there sugar in these products but also harmful additives and ingredients.

You know what worries me is that there are people out there that drink multiple cans a day or liters for that matter and think it’s OK. I was backpacking in Singapore last year and saw this traveler who was at my hostel, it was 5 30am in the morning and he was drinking a 2L of pop…
