10 Ways to Save 100 Calories at Lunch
This is the second article in a series of tips to help you save at least 100 calories at breakfast lunch and dinner time. For people starting a new diet or for people struggling on their current diet read our super tips for knocking 100 calories of your lunch!
1) Try replacing 60g of cheddar cheese in your sandwich with a tablespoon of low fat cheese spread.
2) Swap that hummus for half a pot of tzatziki to go with your pitta bread.
3) Leave the mayo and try a squeeze of lemon juice to your chicken sandwich instead.
4) OR use a teaspoon of mustard instead.
5) Swap your jacket potato and chili for jacket potato and beans. Top your salad with crunchy vegetables like carrot and celery instead of fat filled croutons which not surprisingly add more than 100 calories.
